About SO Origin Bangtao Beach

SO Origin Bangtao Beach is a low-rise condominium by Origin Property, a developer listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. It has 545 units in three 8-storey buildings with a clubhouse, about 400 m from Bang Tao Beach, within the Origin Resort World Bangtao Beach complex. Laguna Phuket, Boat Avenue and Porto de Phuket are a short drive away. On the developer’s website construction stood at about 60% in August 2026.

Buying a contract assignment

In an assignment, you pay the owner for the instalments already paid to the developer plus the agreed premium, and pay the remaining instalments to the developer as construction continues. The developer has to approve the transfer of the contract, usually for a fee. Before you agree, an independent lawyer should check the Sale & Purchase Agreement, the payments made, the developer’s assignment rules and that the unit is within the foreign freehold quota.
