Can foreigners buy property in Mueang Phuket?
Yes, under the same rules as anywhere in Thailand. A foreigner can own a condominium unit freehold within the building’s 49% foreign quota. Land can be owned freehold only by Thai nationals, so a foreign villa buyer usually takes a registered 30-year lease of the land.
How far is Phuket Town from the airport?
Our Phuket Town guide gives around 31 km to Phuket International Airport; by car allow about 40 to 50 minutes. The west-coast beaches are a drive over the hills.
Are there condos in Mueang Phuket District?
