Koh Kaew is a district just north of Phuket city and the junction to Bypass Road connecting to the central Kathu area.
Here you’ll find the Royal Phuket Marina, British International School, and several gated housing communities like Habitia and Saransiri.
Koh Keaw is definitely one of the most upcoming areas in Phuket, especially amongst locals and ex-pats. The reason is definitely being very close to Phuket Town, but also being a little outside of it. Also, Koh Keaw is right in the middle of the island, so it is very convenient to reach places like the airport, marinas, beaches, International Schools, Phuket Town, and pretty much whatever you may need.
Royal Phuket Marina and Boat Lagoon also in Koh Keaw, therefore some of Phuket’s main events are being held in these compounds such as Phuket Yacht Show and many more annual events. Some top class restaurants can also be found in these marinas.
